Andrew Jaeger was born in April, 1993, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has studied violin since the age of six. His first teacher was Patricia Licetti, in Princeton, NJ. He has since studied with Arkady Heifets (Virginia), Ulla Pohle (Bonn), Wolfram Lehnert (Bonn), and Jereon de Groot (Amsterdam).
His repetoire includes several of the Bach Sonatas and Partitas, and the Mendelssohn E-minor violin concerto. Andrew has played with the Williamsburg Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Virginia Middle School South Region Orchestra, and is currently in the Bonner Jugend Sinfonieorchester. Andrew plays a violin made by Pierre Hel in 1911. Andrew Jaeger currently lives in Bonn, Germany, and attends the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt Gymnasium. Contact: afjaeger@gmail.com |
